Eagle Hills, an Abu Dhabi-based development company, has acquired prime land worth $1.5 billion and has revealed plans to build a prestigious golf resort in Baghdad, Iraq. This significant announcement follows a meeting between Iraq Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al Sudani and Eagle Hills Chairman Mohamed Alabbar.

According to the press release released by the development company, the ‘Baghdad Golf Course and Spa’ will offer a range of upscale amenities, including a top-tier golf course, luxury residential areas, a prestigious hotel, and an exclusive club. The golf course will be designed to meet international standards, appealing to players of all skill levels. The residential neighbourhoods will boast meticulously designed homes, creating an elegant and peaceful living environment. The hotel and club will provide premium amenities such as fine dining, spa services, and recreational facilities, ensuring an exceptional and memorable experience for all guests.

Mohamed Alabbar, Chairman of Eagle Hills, proudly stated, “Baghdad is a city with a rich history and vibrant culture. Our aim with the Baghdad Golf Course and Spa is to honour this heritage while also providing a modern, luxurious experience for its residents and visitors.”
