Dubai’s branded residences sector on the rise: Tonino Lamborghini residences unveiled

According to Savills, the global real estate market has experienced a slowdown, especially in the US and EU, due to increasing interest rates. However, Dubai’s market defied expectations in 2023, with a remarkable 36.7% increase in value and a 33.8% rise in transactions compared to 2022. Branded residences have particularly shown impressive resilience amid these challenges, with a 160% growth over the past decade. It’s clear that branded residences are gaining popularity in Dubai, given the number of developers teaming up with luxury brands. And now, Gulf Land Property Developers have joined the bandwagon by collaborating with Tonino Lamborghini Group to create an upscale residential community in Meydan, right in the heart of Dubai.

The community will consist of four buildings totalling 750,000 square feet of gross floor area. Two buildings will have 6 floors each, while the other two will have 12 floors. Each building will feature 2 parking levels and offer 1 to 4-bedroom apartments designed by Tonino Lamborghini. The apartments will showcase high-quality materials, interior design, fittings, and kitchens, raising the bar for luxury living.

“Over the years, we have become a cornerstone of luxury real estate in Dubai, recognised for our diverse expertise and commitment to innovative design and construction, creating unique lifestyle homes,” says Shaher Mousli, Chairman of Gulf Land Property Developers.

Tonino Lamborghini, Founder and Chairman of Tonino Lamborghini S.p.A. adds, “We have partnered with Gulf Land Property Developer to create a new iconic residence in Dubai, bringing Italian materials and design to the project. The collaboration was based on strong chemistry and expertise, ensuring the success of the venture. The goal is to offer residents the Italian lifestyle experience through every element of the interiors, not just by having the brand name on the building. This partnership aims to deliver the Italian style of living in the Dubai market.”

Developers in Dubai have seen success in launching high-profile branded residences in recent months, such as Armani Beach Residences, Franck Muller Aeternitas Tower, and Mercedes-Benz Places. The demand for ultra-luxury properties in the city remains strong, with properties selling like hotcakes. Moreover, the number of branded residences in Dubai is expected to double over the next five years, as the booming market and robust economic momentum continue to drive growth in the sector. Hence, the future looks bright for the luxury property market in Dubai.
