Dubai sets record with $47 million villa sale on Jumeirah Bay Island

Dubai has once again made history by setting a new record on Jumeirah Bay Island, with the sale of the most expensive villa to date. Located within the Sea Mirror project, an opulent seafront community featuring iconic architectural marvels conceptualised by the renowned Jacobsen Arquitetura, this exquisite villa was brokered by agents Lina Allaoa and Kianoush Darban of Driven Properties for an impressive $47 million (AED 175 million).

Situated on a 15,000 sq ft lot with a total built-up area of 17,500 sq ft, this exquisite property features five luxurious bedrooms, a 25m lap pool in the basement, a cutting-edge gym, a spa, sauna, and steam room, a wine cellar, a cigar room, and a stunning rooftop terrace. Sea Mirror is the flagship project of Lamar Development, a Dubai-based company renowned for its exceptional architectural designs that seamlessly blend modern aesthetics with natural elements. Collaborating with world-renowned architects Jacobsen Arquitetura and Studio MK27, as well as interior designer Patricia Urquiola, these limited edition residences are a true masterpiece of timeless and iconic design.

Speaking of the sale, Lina Allaoa stated, “Selling the most expensive villa on Jumeirah Bay Island is a remarkable achievement and a testament to our expertise and dedication at Driven Properties. Sea Mirror villas are not just a home; they are a lifestyle experience that embodies the pinnacle of luxury.”

Kianoush Darban added, “The overwhelming interest in and swift sale of Sea Mirror villas highlight the allure and investment potential of this exceptional development. We are incredibly proud to represent such an extraordinary project and contribute to its success.”

Building on the success of Sea Mirror, Lamar Development is currently preparing to launch “Sea Mirror Residences” on the Dubai Water Canal, adjacent to the Four Seasons Residences. This development will have one apartment per floor and 18 opulent penthouses, each boasting a private lift. Starting at $5.4 million (AED 20 million), the project is poised to commence construction shortly with an anticipated completion date in Q3 2026.
