Dubai: Over 11,500 land plots distributed in the last two years, announces Sheikh Hamdan

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai, announced on Sunday that over the last two years, more than 11,500 residential land plots have been distributed to citizens, and loans totalling $2.2 billion (AED 8 billion) have been allocated.

On his account on X, the Crown Prince of Dubai said: “Today, I oversaw the progress of citizen housing programmes in the emirate and the achievements of the Higher Committee for Development and Citizens Affairs in Dubai since its inception.”

According to Sheikh Hamdan, a combined total of 3,300 residential land plots were distributed in Al Yalayis and Latifa City, meeting the demand for 2023. Additionally, 1,367 housing units have been built in the emirate.

These developments solidify Dubai’s commitment to its citizens’ well-being and position its housing programs as a model for sustainable development within the region.
