DAMAC’s luxury gems: The Sapphire Tower completes Dubai’s Safa series

DAMAC has an expansive property portfolio, and luxury is part of the company’s DNA. Moreover, it is committed to providing a holistic experience to the customers and is constantly working towards widening its land bank by identifying locations that are lucrative, convenient, and accessible. And recently, they launched the “The Sapphire” tower, completing their luxury lifestyle collection Safa series.

“The Safa Park locality neighbours Dubai’s famed Sheikh Zayed Road—a popular landmark in the city. With accelerated development in the location, particularly because of the Dubai Canal and Business Bay, the three towers (read: Safa One, Safa Two and Sapphire) enjoy an attractive location for both investors and homeowners of the projects,” says Mohammed Tahaineh, General Manager of Projects, DAMAC Properties.

Property highlights for the Safa series

Designed by the famed Killa Design award-winning practice, Safa One de GRISOGONO was launched in 2022, with visions of offering a tropical paradise to its residents.

The project is a family-friendly complex surrounded by parks, jogging tracks, and sports facilities, offering various leisure activities. Residents can enjoy easy access to the city’s top attractions, including Safa Park with its winding pathways and family-friendly amenities. For a more iconic experience, they can also visit the Burj Khalifa, the tallest skyscraper known for its fine dining options, laser shows, and observation decks with stunning city views.

“The project will feature two towers featuring super-luxury floors with sprawling duplexes. Spread across the towers will be hanging gardens, leveraging the essence of nature from ground level up. The interiors will be designed by global luxury brand, de GRISOGONO, bringing their creative finesse to life at this property,” explains Tahaineh.

The stunning complex offers panoramic windows, high ceilings, spacious living rooms, and bedrooms, all designed to provide the utmost comfort. The complex will feature ultra-luxurious apartments with each window block opening up to breathtaking views of green landscapes and the Dubai Water Canal.

He further adds, “Enabling works such as shoring, and piling are completed while the main contractor award is now in the final stages. The substructure raft works involve excavation, reinforcement installation, concrete pouring, and quality control checks to ensure a solid foundation for the superstructure. The project is expected to be completed by Q4 2026.”

Building on the success of Safa One, “Where nature meets luxury” living, Safa Two boasts extensive green features across living units and public spaces. The blended 80+floor twin-tower will boast exquisite designs by de GRISOGONO’s signature styles, with an underlying scarlet theme across the property. Residents are welcomed to a place that redefines luxury with towers that blend nature’s opulence and elegant living. Life here is surrounded by the emerald brilliance of shade-casting trees, blurring the line between the two.

“Amenities of Safa Two will include a one-of-a-kind ‘Fog Forest’ at the crown of the tower featuring a lush landscape and manmade fog, F&B outlets and a majestic observation deck offering expansive views over the Dubai skyline. In addition, there will be an artificial beach pool on the podium level surrounded by palm trees set in a tropical ambience, and a public elevated glass pool,” elaborates Tahaineh.

Your money’s worth

Dubai’s luxury real estate market has historically been attractive to investors and high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) due to its upscale developments, modern infrastructure, and favourable tax environment. Despite occasional fluctuations, it remains a key destination for luxury property investment in the Middle East. Besides, Dubai’s real estate market is currently a buyer’s market and is forecasted to continue to be the case for the next six to 12 months.

The three towers enjoy the luxury of being positioned on one of the most sought-after locations currently in Dubai—Sheikh Zayed Road, next to the Safa Park. With the towers expected to take shape on either side of the nation’s acclaimed highway, investors will benefit from trusting a valuable brand in a prime destination that garners high demand. “We have received a favourable response from investors for the tower, and we feel confident this will continue bearing in mind the tower’s prime location and distinguishable amenities,” Tahaineh concludes.
