Cheval Collection announces luxury serviced apartments in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Capitalising on the impressive growth in infrastructure, tourism, and hospitality industry driven by Vision 2030, Cheval Collection is set to launch its luxury serviced apartments in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in partnership with Ladun Investment Company. The construction of Cheval Ladun Living is scheduled to begin this year and is expected to be completed by 2027. It will be Cheval Collection’s first property in Saudi Arabia and its third in the Middle East, following its successful operations in Dubai.

John Philipson, COO, Cheval Collection speaking exclusively with CW Property Middle East shares his excitement about this opportunity and reaffirms the firm’s commitment to the region’s future tourism, real estate, and hospitality goals.

How does Cheval Ladun Living fit into Cheval Collection’s overall expansion strategy in the Middle East?

The Middle East is a key growth region for Cheval Collection, with Cheval Maison-The Palm Dubai experiencing great success in its first year of operation. The upcoming properties in Dubai’s Expo City and Riyadh are expected to be popular with both short and long-term guests. The move into KSA is crucial for the company’s international growth strategy, as we aim to provide luxury, home-from-home hospitality in strategic locations in the region.

Cheval Collection properties attract guests from across the world, with our Palm Jumeirah location welcoming more than 100 nationalities in its first year.  While the UK, Europe, and GCC are the top source markets at Cheval Maison-The Palm Dubai, we are seeing growth from markets further afield, including Central and South Asia, North America, and China, too.

What will Cheval Ladun Living offer its residents?

Cheval Ladun Living will be located on King Fahd Road, close to Riyadh’s King Abdullah Financial Centre.  The tower will have 130 one to three-bedroom luxury apartments, complemented by a range of fitness and leisure amenities, including a gym, swimming pool, and sauna.  The apartments will also have excellent transport links, including being connected to the Metro.

When it comes to design and architecture, each Cheval Collection property comes with a unique approach, which takes local heritage into account.  The design process for Cheval Ladun Living is currently underway, with local experts and designers on board to help us reimagine this unique development.  We believe that Cheval Ladun Living will be an iconic landmark in its own right, reflecting Saudi heritage inside and out.

How does Cheval Collection plan to differentiate Cheval Ladun Living from other luxury serviced apartment offerings in Riyadh, and what marketing strategies will be employed to attract tenants?

Cheval Ladun Living will be positioned as the premium apartment option for people relocating to Riyadh or planning a short stay for business or leisure.  We will attract long-term tenants and short-term guests in several ways including leveraging our direct database of contacts, online search marketing, and using online travel agents and traditional travel agencies to refer guests, including companies who specialise in relocation.  We will also actively target businesses with operations in Saudi Arabia and the wider region, and tie into the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events (MICE) sector.

Considering Cheval Collection’s existing portfolio of luxury apartments in London, Edinburgh, and Dubai, what sets Cheval Ladun Living apart?

No two Cheval Collection properties are the same in terms of design and amenities as each is tailored to the local market, culture, demographics, and regulations.  As such, each property has its own ‘personality’, and our teams are carefully selected, recruited, and trained to reflect this individuality.

However, what they do all have in common is superior services, top-flight accommodation with quality finishing, a prime location and superior, 24-hour service to which short and long-term guests return to time and time again.

The discerning travellers who stay at Cheval Collection properties expect a home away from home, and Cheval Ladun Living aims to not only meet but exceed those expectations.
